As a result of promotion, we are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to manage and further develop our existing, successful customer relationships and focus on future business growth throughout the Central North Island region.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and working across the Hawkes Bay and Gisborne regions, you will be accountable for achieving key sales objectives through building multi-level relationships within existing and new customer organisations, developing sales opportunities, communicating value propositions and effectively managing a sales pipeline for your territory.
We are looking for an individual with proven progressive sales experience of capital equipment and a competitive, flexible and resilient nature to drive success within a regional territory. You should be self-motivated and self-driven to achieve results, with strong organisation and time management skills and the ability to negotiate and influence to reach optimal sales outcomes. The ability to engage with and build strong, trusting relationships with customers and internal partners is essential. Working knowledge of plant, forestry and general construction equipment will be an advantage. Extensive product training will be provided.
As Health and Safety is paramount in this industry you will be up to speed with practices and be able to demonstrate this in your work habits. This knowledge will help you to promote the company image in a professional manner as well as provide first class customer service.
