The Role:

A great opportunity exists in our Wellington region (reporting through to our Palmerston North Branch), to work on the latest construction equipment in the field, and develop your career, knowledge, skills and experience further within the heavy diesel industry.

This role ensures that you will remain current and up to date by being constantly exposed to our industries ever evolving technological landscape.

Responsibilities include:
• Diagnose, maintain and repair construction equipment that is now in our client’s possession.
• Maintain continuing good relationships with customers and potential customers within the region.
• Actively work to ensure excellent daily communication with the workshop and parts department.
• Complete all paperwork as needed.
• Ensure timecards are completed daily showing the correct job number.
• Record stocks, oils and other material used against a job number.

Our ideal applicant will:
• Be a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with construction equipment and field service experience.
• Be a self-starter with initiative.
• Have used electronic diagnostic equipment in previous roles.
• Have hydraulics experience.
• Be fit and able.
