You will be able to hit the ground running, joining a proven market leader in sales and service. You will be fully backed by head office functions and on the ground training and support.

The role:
The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Service and Parts departments for our forklift operations by coordinating service and parts orders and inventory across multiple locations.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate service requests and appointments, ensuring timely response to customer inquiries and maintenance requests
  • Assign work orders to service technicians based on skills, location, and priority, optimising their schedules for efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain detailed service records and WIP management
  • Submit claims (including photos) and technical agreements to the Warranty department as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of forklift parts inventory, recording of stock level and reordering of parts
  • Monitoring inbound shipments and keep service team notified of ETAs
  • Ensure creditors outstanding remain within predefined levels
  • Provide world class customer service, keeping customers informed about service appointments, delays, and expected completion times whilst addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally with a smile
  • Prepare and present regular reports on service and parts performance

 

We are ideally looking for:

  • Previous experience in a workshop or similar environment
  • Proven experience in forklift service and parts planning or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of forklift maintenance and repair procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Precise and correct in approach to tasks, has an eye for detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Well organised, methodical and efficient
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
  • Understands the importance of great customer service
  • Current holder of NZ work visa, resident, or citizen.
