REGIONAL MANAGER - CHRISTCHURCH - SERVICE DEPARTMENT

An exciting, challenging opportunity exists to join our busy Christchurch/West Coast Service Department as Regional Manager.  We have a well-equipped workshop suited to our business needs and extremely skilled staff not only in our workshop but throughout the region and the rest of the country.  We are seeking someone with very strong leadership skills to lead our Christchurch based team of technicians.  You will be familiar with our company products such as Volvo, Yanmar, MTU, Detroit, Allison, Perkins, Terex and have experience working in a similar role in the Heavy Diesel industry.   
 
A proven ability to maximise the financial performance of the service business, together with a high degree of business acumen will ensure that high quality standards are maintained for both external and internal customers.  Possessing a high level of motivation you will take initiative when required and be responsible for the decisions you make on a daily basis.  Building rapport and strong relationships with your customers and staff alike, you will pride yourself on being able to motivate others to meet set objectives and regularly exceed performance levels.
 
As Health and Safety is paramount within our industry you should have a good knowledge of the processes surrounding this in the workplace and the ability to act as an ambassador for safe work systems in your branch and company wide.

An opportunity exists in our busy Christchurch Workshop to join our growing team as a Diesel Technician.  We are looking for someone who demonstrates a high quality work ethic, enjoys variety and is keen to be part of a fast paced dynamic company.   The company offers on-going training and support and proactively encourages personal and career development.  

Preferably you will have previous experience rebuilding diesel engines or transmissions within the construction industry, either in a workshop or field service.  Displaying a high level of initiative and problem solving skills, you may have used electronic diagnostic equipment in previous roles.  You will also have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to convey technical information across different business units and levels of the company. 

As Health and Safety is paramount in this industry, you will be up to speed with practices and be able to demonstrate this in your day to day work habits.  This knowledge will help you to promote the company image in a professional manner.

PARTS MANAGER– TAUPO

Our Spare Parts Division runs as an efficient and profitable division through the purchase and resale of parts required.   With experience and knowledge of mechanical/diesel engines, you will deliver an excellent standard of customer service, to both internal and external customers.   Excellent organisational and planning skills will ensure you maintain control on all inventory or locally stocked spare parts within the workshop and make recommendations to replenish stock levels as required.   You will also display leadership qualities with regard to managing the department and staff reporting to you.  

TransDiesel puts Health and Safety first and you will therefore be committed to comply with safe work practices.  Together with your strong interpersonal and communication skills, you will be a motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.  You will be competent using computerised computer reporting to meet company deadlines.  A positive and enthusiastic attitude, whilst working under pressure is a must.
