WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR - AUCKLAND

An exciting opportunity exists in our Auckland workshop to develop your career, knowledge, skills and experience in the heavy diesel industry . As the dealer for Detroit, Allison, Perkins, MTU, and Terex to name a few, you will work with leading edge products within our industry.
 
Your significant supervisory/front line management experience in the heavy automotive and construction equipment field, combined with your technical knowledge in transmissions, engines, equipment, hydraulics, and mobile applications will ensure your success in this rewarding and challenging role. 
 
Leading a team of diesel technicians and apprentices your key attributes include knowledge derived from managing in a mechanical services environment, a flexible and proactive approach to delivering customer service and significant commercial experience within  a workshop environment. Your exceptional ability to interface with customers at all levels to translate technical aspects into easily understood language is paramount within our dynamic environment.

A vacancy is available for a Parts Correspondent to join the busy team in our Manukau Branch
to assist in providing high quality service to our customers/Work shop. Your solid product knowledge
in our industry will contribute to your success in this role. 
 
This vacancy requires a person who can competently and clearly communicate product and service
information both over the counter, & via telephone, has administrative ability, is computer literate, and
a friendly outgoing manner.  Previous experience in a parts/ service role is an advantage.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic, goal-driven individual eager to succeed within TransDiesel Ltd, New Zealand’s premier heavy diesel engine, transmission specialists and suppliers of construction equipment.  If you are natural leader, customer focused and pride yourself on delivering exceptional customer service, then this is the position for you. 
 
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the profitable and effective operation of all TransDiesel parts departments. You will lead the parts team in delivering backup and support of our products and services on behalf of the Spare Parts, Power Products, Equipment and Service Divisions.  At the same time you will be dedicated to the company’s commitment of excelling in the field of customer service to existing and new clients. 
 
Working from our Christchurch head office you will have the support and resources to be successful in your position.
 
  • It is essential applicants will have a good working knowledge of automotive industrial, marine engines and transmissions. 
  • Continue to develop and maintain a professional, highly customer focused team providing the best quality service to Transdiesel customers.
  • Pride yourself on developing a positive continues improvement culture within the spare parts department.
  • Have solid judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills and a proven record of taking initiative and responsibility in using those skills effectively, both individually and as a member of a team.
  • Ensure the spare parts department operated in a profitable and effective manner.
